Floating belly button ring in solid 925 STERLING SILVER. This piece features a petite synthetic opal stone and a 4mm flat disk. A dainty yet delicate look that celebrates the beauty of femininity. The stones are white to pale blue with green fire and orange hue. Be mesmerized by their color play under different lightening and viewing angle.

Finding the Right Size

The model is wearing the 8mm 14g option, but the right size for you depends on your anatomy and on how your piercing was placed. The best way to find the right length is standing up and measuring the distance between the hole of your piercing and the upper rim of your belly button in millimeters (mm). If the distance is 7.5mm, for example, then go with the 8mm option.
As for the thickness, the standard size for belly rings is 14 gauge (14g), which equals around 1.5mm, or 1/16 inch. If you haven’t been wearing jewelry in your piercing for some time, or the jewelry you are
currently wearing appears to be thinner than 14g, then go with 16g. 16g is slightly thinner than 14g (16g is about 1.2mm).
If you still have doubts or you don’t have a ruler with a millimeter scale, you can always send us a picture of your piercing with a ruler next to it. We are more than happy to help you.

Why Synthetic Opal

We try to make conscious, sustainable, and ethical decisions. Lab-grown stones don't put workers at risk, don't fuel wars, and have minimal impact on the environment. Our opals are made by Kyocera in Kyoto, and are in our opinion the best alternative. They are chemically identical to natural opals: 100% silica, same hardness, brilliance and fire. The only thing that changes is origin.

Care Guide

Jewelry that has no gold or rose-gold plating comes with a fine rhodium finish. In this way, the silver keeps its hypoallergenic properties but stays shiny at the same time. Still, body jewelry made of silver requires some attention: better avoid chemicals (such as disinfectants other than alcohol), saline solution, pool- or seawater and hot springs; check from time to time that the jewelry is still screwed on tightly; if you notice that your jewelry is changing color, give it a polish with the special cloth included in your order.

Packaging

To protect the environment, we avoid plastic where we can by using cardboard boxes and kraft tape. Your order comes in a retro-style tin box containing instructions, a polishing cloth made of 100% cotton and your jewelry sealed in a clear pouch. All body jewelry is sterilized with a certified autoclave.

US orders ship from our California warehouse and arrive within 5 working days.
All other orders, including orders from Canada, ship from our China/Hong Kong warehouse. Shipping time depends on the final destination; most orders arrive within 3 weeks.

    So far, I really like it. It's super cute. Only thing is that it was hard to screw on. The OG one i had you screw it into it where as this one you have to screw on (hope i made sense). Not a fan of that and i am nervous it's not on tight enough. Otherwise, it's adorable

    The quality is great and the customer service was even better. The jewel unscrewed within the first day or two and the seller seemed more than happy to replace it.
