24k Gold Coated 925 Silver 16G/18G Conch Hoop Earring

If you are already wearing a hoop in your conch piercing, it is a good idea to measure the inner diameter of the hoop you are wearing. If you currently not wearing a hoop in your piercing, we recommend going with the 12mm option. 16g is the standard gauge used for conch piercings. 18g is a little thinner. Earrings for the earlobes are in 18g.

Simply put, gold vermeil jewelry features a thicker layer of gold over a sterling silver base. To qualify as gold vermeil, the gold layer must be at least 2.5 microns thick, making it five times thicker than standard plating. This ensures durability and resistance to fading or tarnishing. By using 24k gold for the coating, we make sure your skin is only in contact with gold in its purest form.

To restore shine to gold vermeil pieces, gently clean them with soapy water and dry with a soft cloth; Don't use polishing pads.

To protect the environment, we avoid plastic where we can by using cardboard boxes and kraft tape. Your order comes in a retro-style tin box containing instructions, a polishing cloth made of 100% cotton and your jewelry sealed in a clear pouch. All body jewelry is sterilized with a certified autoclave.
